Production
CRISM "Prometey" has an unique Research and Production Experimental base
for manufacturing of pilot batches of semifinished and finished
products,
welding and other production-purpose services.
Research and Production Eexperimental base of the Institute includes:
- Research and Production Experimental Complex of development and creation
of structural metallic base and welding materials RPEC, (Gatchina,
Leningrad Region, Russia).
- Specialized complex of low-tonnage science absorbing industry of anti-friction polymer composites for machine building
(Gatchina, Leningrad Region, Russia).
- Pilot production of science-intensive products from polymer composites
(settl. Otradnoye, Leningrad Region, Russia)
- Specialized science and technology sector of development of structural
nanomaterials (Gatchina, Leningrad Region, Russia).
- Radiation researches laboratory (RRL) building 67, (Gatchina, Leningrad
Region, Russia).
- Material explosive treatment site (settl. Gavrilovo, Leningrad
Region,
Russia).
Research and Production Experimental Complex established in 1969 is intended
for development of manufacturing processes of new structural base and
welding materials created by CRISM "Prometey".

At the present time
keeping a main scientific and production potential and personnel RPEC is
performing contractual works with a wide range of companies in the fields of
shipbuilding, nuclear power engineering, petrochemical, gas and oil
producing, machine-building industries, construction materials industry and
community facilities.
