Guidelines for Authors of the Journal “Voprosy Materialovedeniya”
(Materials Science Issues)
Dear Authors!
The Editorial Board kindly asks authors who submit their articles for
publication, follow the rules set out below and comply with the current
copyright protection laws (Chapter 70 “Copyright” of the Civil Code of the
Russian Federation, Part IV), adhere to generally accepted ethical standards
in accordance with site’s section On Publishing Ethics and Declaration on
ethics and unacceptable practices approved by the decision of the Bureau of
the Scientific and Publishing Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences of
September 18, 2012.
Thus, the list of authors includes only those who made a significant
contribution to research work, and participants in preparatory or auxiliary
work are noted in the notes to the relevant sections of the text; all
persons included in the group of authors must confirm their consent and
approve the manuscript of the article sent for publication by personal
signature; any changes and additions to the team of authors should be agreed
with all authors. Authors are expected to consider carefully the list and
order of authors before submitting their manuscript and provide the
definitive list of authors at the time of the original submission.
Republishing: submitting articles to several journals, as well as duplicate
publications (self-plagiarism), as well as copying references to works with
which the authors themselves are not familiar, are unacceptable. Information
and materials protected by copyright (specific figures, data tables, graphic
dependencies, large quotations, etc.) can be reproduced in the article only
with the permission of the copyright holders.
In case of detection of facts of violation by the authors of their
obligations under the license agreement, the removal of the article is made
by notification in the next issue. Manuscripts that do not meet the stated
requirements will be returned to the authors for revision.
Since 2011, the Editorial Board selects the best articles among those
published every year and recommends them for publication in the journal
"Inorganic Materials: Applied Research", published by "Pleiades Publishing,
Ltd". The choice is based on assessments and evaluations of independent
experts. Thus, the authors are kindly requested to follow these rules paying
attention to the fact that the following agreements must be submitted
together with the manuscripts:
1) License agreement granting the publisher (CRISM Prometey) with copyright
to use and publish articles in Russian (two copies);
2)
Transfer agreement granting the editor ("Pleiades Publishing, Ltd") with
copyright to publish articles in English (two copies).
The Editorial Board of the journal "Inorganic Materials: Applied Research"
and the Publishers makes a final decision as to exactly what articles would
be published in English.

independent experts and, if necessary, are sent to the authors for
correction, completion or substantial reviewing (On peer-reviewing). This
does not mean that the article is accepted for publication, since the
Editorial Board makes decision to publish or not publish the article after
the review of the final version according to the reader’s opinion.
